Upcoming survey for Great Colleges to Work For Program

WSU is participating in The Chronicle of Higher Education’s Great Colleges to Work For Program.  This program was specifically designed to provide the feedback needed to help institutions of higher education improve their cultures and to recognize institutions that have built great workplaces, said Warwick Bayly, WSU Provost and Executive Vice President.
As part of this program, a survey will be conducted to measure the strength of organizational competencies and relationships that most directly impact and influence an institution’s culture.   An invitation to participate in this survey will be emailed to a random sample of WSU’s full-time faculty, administrators, and professional staff on April 3. If you receive this invitation, please take a moment to complete the survey.  Your participation and honest feedback is critical to the assessment process and you will represent not only yourself, but also some of your colleagues.  A high response rate will also help to ensure accurate results and will demonstrate the commitment of our workforce.
The survey will be anonymous. To ensure anonymity, your survey will be processed by ModernThink, LLC, a research and consulting firm focusing on workplace excellence. Our institution will not be given any information that would enable us to trace survey data back to any one individual.
The Chronicle will publish the overall findings of the Program this summer.  After that, WSU will receive a report that summarizes our responses to the survey questions.
If you have any questions, contact Fran Hermanson, associate director of institutional research, at franherm@wsu.edu or 335-3942.
