PULLMAN, Wash. – A film, lectures and art show Sept. 28-29 at Washington State University will explore how prison inmates experience healing and restoration through art, music and creative writing.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University trumpeter Brian Ploeger won an international Graduate College Soloist Award from the jazz journal DownBeat magazine. He is a graduate teaching assistant and master’s candidate in the School of Music.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Nighthawk, a Washington State University faculty jazz ensemble, has released a self-titled, debut CD on the peer-reviewed WSU Recordings label. A CD release party will start at 9:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18, at Rico’s Pub, 200 E. Main St., Pullman. There is no cover charge.
