WSU president-elect Schulz to tour state campuses

Kirk-Schulz-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University President-elect Kirk Schulz and wife Noel will visit WSU campus locations Friday and Monday to make brief remarks and participate in question-and-answer sessions with WSU students, faculty and staff.

The couple plans to return for extended visits following their relocation to Pullman in June.

Schulz will make introductory remarks at each location and answer questions from students, faculty, and staff. Following the public sessions, Schulz will meet with local news media for approximately 20 minutes on each campus.

Media are invited to attend the initial public event and are asked to arrive early due to expected large crowds. Additionally, because of time restrictions, media are asked to hold questions until after the initial public event.

Friday, April 1

WSU Pullman

Public event – 8:30 a.m., CUB Sr. Ballroom

Media availability – 9:35 a.m., CUB Jr. Ballroom

WSU Tri-Cities

Public event – Noon, East Auditorium

Media Availability – 1:00 p.m., East Building Room 212

WSU Spokane

Public event – 4 p.m., Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Building, Walgreen’s Auditorium

Media availability – 4:40 p.m., Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Room 112, 112 A, 112B.

Monday, April 4

WSU Vancouver

Public event – 9:30 a.m., Dengerink Administration Building Auditorium.

WSU North Puget Sound at Everett

Public event – 1 p.m., Jackson Conference Center Wilderness Auditorium
