Attendees will interact and network with food industry suppliers and organizations. An industry exhibition hall will be the site of a wine and cheese reception Nov. 11.
Speakers will include Tim DeAtley, ConAgra Foods, discussing critical factors for sanitation programs, and Jenny Scott, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), discussing preventive sanitation in light of proposed changes to the Food Safety Modernization Act.
Breakout session topics will include: engaging management in food sanitation; food allergens and allergen cleaning programs; recall and crisis management; and more. An interactive session will be held with the FDA and regulatory officials from Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
