Feb. 28: Women’s leadership training – accept, take action

women's-leadership-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Acceptance and commitment training (ACT) will be the focus of a women’s leadership symposium 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in Ensminger Pavilion.

women's-leadership-350ACT will help participants accept what is out of their personal control and commit to action that improves and enriches their lives. Topics will include:

• How your actions can influence others;

• Techniques that help you acknowledge your thoughts;

• Approaches that are effective for you;

• Connecting to be more fully present;

• Developing a committed action plan.
