RICHLAND, Wash. – The opening reception for a semester-long exhibit of regional artwork will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Washington State University Tri-Cities.
The Chancellor’s Art Exhibition Series for fall 2013 features 39 pieces by 24 artists based in the Mid-Columbia region.
Chancellor H. Keith Moo-Young will welcome the artists in the East Building, Room 228 conference room. Many of the artists present will be available to discuss their work and answer questions about the specific pieces.
The artwork is on display through Dec. 23 in publicly accessible areas of the East Building administration area at WSU Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.
This semi-annual juried exhibition series is designed to showcase the remarkable art of the Columbia Valley. Digital images, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramics, glass or any other media is eligible and encouraged.
