A Celebration of Life Ceremony honoring the life and legacy of former Washington State University President Glenn Terrell will be held at 1:45 p.m. today in the Terrell Library Atrium on the WSU Pullman campus. Dr. Terrell, who served as president from 1967 to 1985, died Friday, Aug. 30, at the age of 93.
Speakers include WSU President Elson S. Floyd as well as former WSU Presidents V. Lane Rawlins and Sam Smith. WSU Regent Scott Carson also will make remarks as will Professor Emeritus Carol Gordon, WSU Foundation Board of Governors member Mikal Thomsen, and Glenn Terrell III. Paul Casey, ASWSU president during part of Dr. Terrell’s tenure, will serve as master of ceremonies.
