The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS), recognizing there are many questions and concerns students have about financial aid and scholarships during this peak time, has implemented new measures to provide the best possible service to all WSU students.
OFAS started delivering Financial Aid Awards to all students in mid-July for the upcoming academic year, and money will continue to move quickly to students’ hands throughout the semester. For those students who don’t yet have aid, Emergency Short Term Loans will be provided when possible. Students who need this option should contact their local financial aid office.
To reduce wait time when visiting or calling, the office has increased its capacity for more student and parent calls and is accepting and reviewing documents at a faster rate.
Pullman students can make in-person counselor appointments online through the new FinAid Scheduler rather than waiting in line. Plus, they have options of dropping off documents, learning about self-help next steps, and/or scheduling a future appointment if needed.
Please direct students to visit their local financial aid office, call, email, or check the OFAS website at WWW.FINAID.WSU.EDU when seeking help.
