The Department of Chemistry invites you to attend the first Matteson Lecture Series, A Short Course in Glycobiology, presented by Professor Robin Polt. This short course ( http://organic.wsu.edu/files/polt.pdf) will consist of five lectures of increasing complexity, culminating with a research talk. The course will be held the first week of the fall term beginning August 19th from 2-3 pm in Fulmer 438. We will be offering a light lunch served 15 minutes before each lecture. We hope to try this format and vary the topic, perhaps eventually running each semester if it proves to be successful. Please encourage your students to avail themselves of this opportunity.
