The Tunnel Lid Construction project along College Ave will start August 12th. Then the access to College Ave between Veterans Way and Library Road will be closed off to all vehicular traffic. WSU will be rebuilding the main utility tunnel that runs along College Ave. Pedestrian traffic will be diverted away from the construction zone. Alternative methods of maintenance access and deliveries to the Abelson Hall loading dock will need to be in effect on Aug 12th please consider alternative locations such as Heald or Eastlick Halls loading areas. Trash pickup from the loading dock will need to occur at different location yet to be determined for the duration of the project but may be able to access the loading dock later as work progresses and staging of materials move on site this goes for deliveries as well. Irrigation in the area south of Heald will need to be turned off as we begin demo of the site. ADA drivers should plan on using alternative entrances to the core of campus. Duration of construction is scheduled to last till the end of November 2013.
