PULLMAN, Wash. – Diane Triplett, who retired as administrative manager in the history department in 1994, died Feb. 12 in Mesa, Ariz. She began work at Washington State University in 1985.
Diane was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Winifred and Holloway Solberg. She grew up and graduated from high school in Deer Park, Wash. She then attended Washington State College where she met and married Perry Triplett from Asotin, Wash., in 1959. They raised three children in Moses Lake and Pullman, Wash. They spent a decade of semi-retirement in Tacoma before moving to Mesa to soak up the sun and see the grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Perry; her sister, Chris; her three children, Shelly, Bryan and Kirk; and her nine grandchildren.
