At What Price? The Higher Cost of Higher Ed (A Public Forum Debate)

The cost of higher education is on the rise. Tuition has increased an average of 54% over the past decade across the nation and at WSU while federal and state funding has diminished. In this environment, how can universities continue to make higher education accessible to students? Is a college degree still worth the price tag? Should government invest more into higher education? Please join us for this Public Forum wherein students, faculty, administrators and you will explore this complicated topic. All attendees are encouraged to bring questions and concerns about tuition and the cost of higher education.

This Forum will be held Feb. 5 at noon in Butch’s Den in the lower level of the CUB. This event will be lived streamed so that individuals at a distance have the opportunity to participate. Visit http://cce.wsu.edu/public-forums for more information.
