DENVER, Colo. – Jon Lindstrom, a 21-year veteran in the financial, real estate and insurance industries, and a Washington State University alumnus, has been named the new Wells Fargo insurance managing director for Colorado.
Lindstrom will lead business development, client service and sales for the company’s insurance operations in the Colorado region, which includes approximately 60 team members and provide insurance services to Wells Fargo’s business banking, middle market, large corporate, and high-net-worth customers. Wells Fargo Insurance is a division of Wells Fargo & Company, the fifth largest insurance broker in the world (Business Insurance, 2012), with 127 offices in 37 states.
Lindstrom joined Wells Fargo Insurance in 2012 as a commercial bank sales executive in the Denver market. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he worked at Arthur J. Gallagher, and also held various roles at Willis Group Holdings including vice president of business development and regional practice leader for the real estate division. Lindstrom also was the founder of Lindstrom & Associates, Inc., a commercial brokerage firm based in the Denver Metro area. His areas of expertise include development and construction risk management as well as commercial distressed assets and portfolios.
Lindstrom has a bachelor’s degree in ethics/philosophy from WSU and received his MBA from Seattle Pacific University. He also is an executive board member at the Colorado Associate of Home Builders.
