PULLMAN, Wash. – The only federal holiday that is a national day of service is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which will be celebrated Monday, Jan.21. Washington State University employees and students can participate in community projects through the Center for Civic Engagement.
CCE transportation to the projects is full; however, faculty and staff who can provide their own transportation may participate by contacting Erin McIlraith at cfd@wsu.edu. A list of projects can be found here.
Students groups that can provide their own transportation can contact the same email to volunteer for the Orphan Acres or White Springs Ranch projects.
