WSU Tri-Cities has a Tinius Olsen Universal Testing Machine. The Tensile Tester has a 30,000 lb. capacity. This unit comes with several other attachments such as a clam shell oven, chart recorder readout, Extensometer and grips.
The tensile tester is available at no cost to a WSU department that could use this equipment. All you need to do is travel to the Tri-Cities to pick it up.
