Distinguished Lecture: Role of nanoparticle physico-chemical characteristics in Angiogenesis
Dr. Sudipta Seal is University Distinguished Professor and Pegasus Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and the College of Medicine, Director of the Advanced Materials Processing and Analysis Center, and Director of the Nanoscience Technology Center at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Seal joined UCF in 1997 following a post-doctoral stint at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and UC Berkeley. He received his BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, and his PhD from the University of Wisconsin. He is a Fellow of the ASM, AAAS and AVS. He has written more than 260 journal papers, 11 book chapters, 3 books, 31 patents, and has an h-index > 35. His expertise lies in the field of bulk nanomanufacturing, nano-therapeutics, nano energetics, innovative nanotechnology education and green manufacturing.
