Mike Kreidler, Insurance Commissioner for the state of Washington, will discuss the implications of the Affordable Care Act for insurance companies in the state of Washington and provisions requiring competition on price and quality.
Commissioner Kreidler has extensive experience in the field of health; he began as a doctor of optometry with a master’s degree in public health, followed by 20 years of practice at Group Health Cooperative in Olympia, and continued by serving as a member of the Northwest Power Planning Council and a regional director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
