Imagine U @ College asks faculty, staff, students, and alumni to provide service to communities in the state by volunteering their time and skills to offer presentations to high school students across the state that showcase some of the opportunities they might have through higher education! Past presentations have included “Chips vs. Veggies: Tasty Lessons in Marketing,” “Fowl Plague: Why all the fuss about bird flu?” and many more!
We would love to see you take your area of expertise and create a presentation to outreach to students around the state. You will not only be building your presentation skills and sharing your work, but helping to maintain the outstanding reputation of Washington State University. We are in great need of presenters to make Imagine U possible!
The Imagine U program, funded by the College Access Challenge Grant, will cover your reasonable travel expenses to, from, and while at, the school locations so you don’t have to worry about costs!
Presentations should be created to be engaging and hands-on with a high school audience in mind. If you are interested in volunteering with the Imagine U program as a presenter, please submit a presentation proposal on our website (http://imagineu.wsu.edu) ASAP!
