SPOKANE, Wash. Washington State University Spokane students completing a degree in nutrition and exercise physiology (NEP) are seeking people interested in improving their health by receiving free counseling on diet and exercise.“We want people who are motivated to learn about their health and who want to receive education and coaching from skilled students under the supervision of NEP instructors,” said Anne Patron, a graduate student in NEP. “We have a group of motivated seniors who would like to help you achieve goals and have fun.”
Student services will begin Monday, Oct. 22. Participants can receive one-on-one counseling or attend a group exercise class at WSU Spokane. A group lifestyle program, to which participants commit for 12 weeks, is available for $50.
