PULLMAN, Wash. – The new football operations facility for Washington State University will be unveiled as a future action item at the regularly scheduled WSU Board of Regents meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in rooms 101-103 of Firstenburg Student Commons at WSU Vancouver.
Reduced tuition, enhanced gateways into WSU Pullman, a new visitor center and a collective bargaining agreement also will be before the regents.

The $61-million football facility, located at the west end of Martin Stadium, will include weight, locker, equipment and training rooms for players, as well as meeting rooms and coaches’ offices. It will feature a WSU football heritage area and a game-day home for Gray W former letter winners.
Funding will come from the PAC-12 conference, particularly from new media and television network contracts, and other athletic system revenue.
WSU Athletics will ask for formal approval of the project at a future meeting.
Regents will see a proposal for a WSU Pullman Gateway Improvement Project designed to enhance access pathways onto campus.
Two informational items concern reduced tuition. One offers students enrolled in online courses through WSU’s Global Campus a flat rate equal to what resident students pay, no matter where they live. The other offers a reduced summer session tuition rate.
On Friday, regents will consider these action items: Ratification of the 2012-13 collective bargaining agreement with Public School Employees of Washington and design of a new WSU Pullman Visitor Center.
