The Molecular Plant Sciences Graduate Students are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a fundraiser for the Dr. Virginia Lee “Change the World” Fellowship. It will be held Thursday April 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Merry Cellars Winery.
Virginia was a MPS graduate student who passed away from cancer in 2010. In recognition of her contributions to WSU and her potential as a scientist, WSU created the Dr. Virginia Lee “Change the World” Fellowship. At the fundraiser, we will celebrate her life and contributions to WSU, while raising money for the fellowship.
Tickets for the event are $35 presale/$45 at the door ($10 off with student ID), and include a glass of wine, hors d’oeuvres, and admission to the silent auction. Please join us in celebrating Virginia’s life and supporting her fellowship.
