The WSU College of Education’s Brown Bag seminar on Wednesday, April 11, will feature four researchers who have faculty funding awards.
Associate Professor Brian French will present on his work dealing with validity evidence for the Teacher Educational Measurement Literacy Scales, scales he developed along with Chad Gotch, a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology. Professor Gail Furman will present on the use of action research dissertations as the capstone project for the Ed.D. This project fosters a social justice agenda, a component central to Dr. Furman’s work. Assistant professors David Cassels Johnson and Eric Johnson will present on their work concerning dual language education policy and practice in Washington state.
