PULLMAN, Wash. – A team of five College of Business finance undergraduate students will compete in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Regional Americas competition in New York on Tuesday, April 10. The winning team will compete with winners of the Asia Pacific region and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for the title of global champion.
The CFA program is a globally recognized, graduate-level curriculum that provides a strong foundation of the real-world investment analysis, portfolio management skills and practical knowledge needed to succeed in today’s investment industry.
The team recently won the local CFA Institute Research Challenge in Spokane, where they competed against Carroll College, Gonzaga University, Montana State University and other Washington State University teams.
WSU College of Business team members include Paige Blaser, Patrick Kelly, Eric Myers, Sean Neal and Miles Pfaff.
