Apr. 19 & 20 – Saving for Retirement with the Deferred Compensation Program (DCP)

The Washington State DCP is a supplemental retirement savings program (an IRC Section 457 plan) that offers eligible faculty and staff the opportunity to invest money towards their retirement. Individuals are able to invest in this plan in addition to their regular retirement plan (such as the PERS plans, or the WSURP). If you are already investing in the Voluntary Investment Plan (VIP) with TIAA-CREF (a 403b plan), you can also participate in the DCP plan.

A DRS representative will be providing two DCP presentations at the following dates and times:

• April 19, 2012 – French Ad, Room 139 – 4:00 p.m. – Videoconferenced

• April 20, 2012 – Lighty 405 – 10:30 a.m.

For complete scheduling details on all of the above-mentioned DRS presentations, including registering online, and requesting videoconferencing services, please go to hrs.wsu.edu/Benefits and click on the link “April 2012 Retirement Seminars.”
