Today – Different Cultures in the World… and at Home: How Do We Interact with Each Other? (Under the Big Tent Debate)

Historical and current trends in domestic and international migration, as well as significant increases in American racial minority populations, have created the diverse culture and democracy in which we live. As these dynamic forces continue and society becomes even more diverse at home and abroad, consideration of others is a constant factor in our lives, as individuals and communities. Expanding our working knowledge of the world and learning to interact with each other across cultural differences is essential for our personal and professional lives as global citizens.

Join the panelists of this Under the Big Tent debate to increase your own cultural and global literacy as part of the ‘At Home in the World’ American Education Council project involving WSU with seven other institutions.

This event will take place on Tuesday, March 27, at noon in the CUB Lair (First Floor). Everyone is welcome to attend and participate. We hope to see you at this debate! Learn more about the Under the Big Tent initiative by visiting cce.wsu.edu/utbt.
