This workshop will introduce you to Pinyin a method of learning spelling and sounds associated with names and words in Chinese. Dr. Christopher Lupke, Chinese language professor in our own Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures, will teach academic advisors to develop a language “connection” with their advisees whose primary language is Mandarin Chinese.
