PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Pullman campus has returned to normal operations under Condition Green for Friday, January 20, 2012. WSU crews have been working since early morning to open up roadways, walkways and parking lots. While crews do their best, it is important that individuals remain responsible for their own personal safety and must exercise their own best judgment.

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Pullman campus will return to normal operations under Condition Green for Friday, Jan. 20, unless conditions change.
The campus has been under Condition Red since Wednesday afternoon, with suspended operations, due to inclement weather. (The WSU men’s basketball game against Stanford University still is scheduled to begin 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, at Beasley Coliseum.)
The WSU Inclement Weather Triage Team will meet early Friday morning to assess conditions and make recommendations for temporary changes to university operations. The goal, according to policy, is to have information about delays or closures made public by 6 a.m. on the day of reported inclement weather.
While the team will make recommendations, individuals remain responsible for their own personal safety and must exercise their own best judgment.
The campus should be considered open unless the president makes the decision to close. Please check the WSU Alert page, http://alert.wsu.edu, for the latest information on campus closures.

Operations remain suspended on the WSU Pullman campus through Thursday. However, essential services remain open, including:

Buses. Pullman transit has notified WSU it will suspend operations Wednesday after 7p.m.

Food Services. The major campus dining centers are also open for food service. The campus carts, however, are all closed.

Compton Union Building. The CUB and most businesses located there are open, including three restaurants., the Bookie, and U.S. Bank.

Health and Wellness. WSU Health and Wellness Services will be open on Thursday, Jan 19th with essential personnel only. Students can still be seen for appointments.

Counseling Services. Counseling Services will be open, with openings for appointments, crisis services and walk-ins.

Student Recreation Center. The UREC center has suspended its regular programs through Thursday. However, the UREC facility will be open from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. – pending weather conditions. For details, click the following link to the UREC website.
