PULLMAN, Wash. – A winter storm warning is in effect through Thursday afternoon, with 8-12 inches of snow expected in the next 36 hours.Washington State University remains open as of Wednesday morning. Employees and students are encouraged to check the WSU Alert website throughout the day for potential changes to that status.

Fed Ex is not providing service to the WSU Pullman campus Wednesday because of snow accumulation and closure of the Lewiston, Idaho airport, said Kathy Cuellar, WSU Central Receiving.
