‘Kansas’ collegiate symphony tour tickets on sale Jan. 23

 
PULLMAN, Wash. – Tickets go on sale Monday, Jan. 23, for the “Kansas” Collegiate Symphony Tour at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Beasley Coliseum. The band will perform with combined orchestras from Washington State University and the University of Idaho.
 
Tickets will be $40 and $30, and there is a $5 discount for WSU staff, faculty and students. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Beasley Coliseum, which is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, or they can be purchased online at www.ticketswest.com.
 
Originally formed in Topeka, Kansas, during 1973, the group “Kansas” became one of the decade’s most popular rock bands. During the ’70s and ’80s, Kansas put together a string of gold- and platinum-certified hit albums, sold out tours and penned two of classic rock’s most instantly recognizable and enduring tunes: “Carry on Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind.”
