Interested in learning about winter camping and other outdoor skills? Join the Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC) for Winter Skills Instruction trip from January 27-29, where participants will learn wilderness survival skills for even the harshest winter conditions. Winter recreation equipment, such as cross country skis and snowshoes, will be used to get to and from the campsite location. Participants will be taught how to build a quinzee (snow shelter), how to work avalanche beacons, and many other outdoor skills. No experience is necessary for this trip. The cost is $125 for Student Recreation Center (SRC) members, $225 for non-members and registration closes on January 22.
