PULLMAN – An Ecowell kiosk, providing natural juice refreshments, has been installed at the WSU Student Recreation Center.
The Ecowell is an environmentally friendly beverage kiosk, developed at WSU, which gives patrons the option to purchase 100 percent juices and natural supplements while using their own reusable containers. This addition is part of University Recreation’s effort to provides patrons with healthy beverage and food options and reduce waste.
The kiosk features touchscreen system that allows users to personalize their favorite drink choice by selecting and combining different drink combinations.
This installation marks the eleventh EcoWell Station in the nation. The Ecowell was developed by two WSU students who wanted to combat the problem of 500 million plastic bottles and cans that are thrown away daily in the United States.
