  • Wednesday Night: very cold. mostly cloudy. lows 1 below to
    8 below zero.
  • Thanksgiving Day: cloudy with a 40 percent chance of light
    snow. not as cold. highs 15 to 19.
  • Thursday Night: snow likely. moderate snow accumulations
    possible. lows 10 to 14. chance of precipitation 60 percent.
  • Friday: not as cold. snow likely. light snow accumulations.

Overall winter prediction
The National Weather Service and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center has stated that the Pacific Northwest should brace for a colder and wetter than average winter, while most of the South and Southeast will be warmer and drier than average through February 2011.
