PULLMAN The sixth annual employee recognition reception will be 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, in the CUB ballroom.
In 2010, more than 660 staff and faculty achieved a length-of-service milestone or received a monthly Crimson Spirit Award.
Faculty and staff who achieved or received such honors will be recognized during a brief ceremony hosted by President Elson S. Floyd beginning at 4 p.m.
Nine Crimson Spirit Award winners will be recognized, along with 10 employees with 40 years of service and one employee with 45 years of service.
Those with 40 years are: Terry Blankenship, Dining Services; John Bodley, Regents professor in anthropology; Noele Cooper, Student Affairs, Equity and Diversity; Judith Hobart, academic coordinator for horticulture and landscape architecture; Randal Kleinhesselink, associate professor of psychology at WSU Vancouver; Charles Madison, professor of speech and hearing at WSU Spokane; David Prieur, professor and chair of veterinary microbiology and pathology; Thomas Twilligear, Extension Bulletin Office; Margaret Viebrock, Douglas County Extension, and David Wollkind, professor of mathematics.
Lee Hadwiger, professor/scientist in plant pathology, has worked at WSU for 45 years.
