Jeffrey Bryan, assistant professor of veterinary clinical sciences, recently received the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Carl Norden Distinguished Teacher Award, bestowed each year by the graduating class.
Sponsored by Pfizer, the award includes a check for $1,000.
The Class of 2010 also awarded the Outstanding House Officer Award of $1,000 to oncology resident Christie Anderson. The honoree is selected for excellence in teaching, mentoring, acting as a role model and demonstrating compassion for clients and patients.
Both awards were presented at the CVM Awards Dessert on April 23. Approximately $630,500 in scholarships was awarded to more than 300 students.
