A random sampling of faculty, staff and graduate students will receive e-mail invitations to participate in the 2010 WSU Today Readership Survey. In essence, they will represent their department, division and campus.
Participation is important. And, it gives people an opportunity to voice their opinions and to help improve WSU Today’s e-newsletter and news center website.
Those who complete the survey will qualify to participate in a drawing for one of two $25 gift certificates to Barnes & Noble Bookstore or Starbucks — winner’s choice. OK, it’s not a trip to the Bahamas, but the odds are pretty good because the number of participants is smaller and randomly selected.
There are 20 questions and it takes about 12 minutes to complete, depending on how much input a person chooses to provide. And, if someone gets interrupted, he/she can come back and pick up where they left off (providing the “cookies” function on their web browser is turned on).
To ensure that all data collected is confidential, WSU Today is hosting the survey on Survey Monkey, an independent provider.
