PULLMAN – A dog/owner fun run, horse and wagon rides, and anatomy quiz on a live painted horse and cow will be among the open house festivities at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine open house for Mom’s Weekend on Saturday, April 10.
Late registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. for the annual Canine Canter, a three-mile run/walk in which dogs bring their owners along for some exercise and fun. Tags showing proof of dog identity and proof of rabies vaccinations must be provided for each annual, with annual combination vaccinations recommended. All dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times.
The open house, including tours of the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, will begin at 10 a.m. There will be refreshments, giveaways and activities – like wagon rides and anatomy quizzes using live painted models – throughout the day until 3 p.m.
