WSU hosts men’s amateur golf championship

PULLMAN — Washington State University and CourseCo, Inc., the golf course management firm hired to operate the Palouse Ridge Golf Club, will host the Washington State Men’s Amateur championship June 23-26.
The tournament will draw 147 of the best players in the state. Play begins at 7:30 a.m. each day and spectators are welcome at no charge. There will be an awards ceremony on Friday afternoon, June 26th, at the completion of play.
“This is a great opportunity to familiarize the state of Washington to this fabulous course” stated Mel Taylor, Executive Director of Real Estate and External Affairs for WSU. “This is our first full season of golf at Palouse Ridge, and the accolades keep coming in.”
