WSU Education Program on Seattle TV

PULLMAN, Wash. — The minority recruitment program at Washington State University’s College of Education, Future Teachers of Color, will be the focus of a half-hour long television broadcast on the Seattle public affairs show “True Colors” in November. The show will be broadcast three times in the Seattle area: on KCTS-TV, channel 9, on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 12:30 p m.; and on KOMO-TV, channel 4, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at noon.
The show will focus on minority students now attending WSU and recently graduated from the teacher preparation program there. Other featured panelists will include Judy Mitchell, dean of the college, and Milton Lang, College of Education director of student recruitment.
