Here are some more of the changes you will see for the recycling program on the Pullman campus as the result of changes in worldwide recycling markets.
1) The term “Co-mingled”, is being replaced by the word “Recycling” and signage will have consistent format and messaging in all areas of campus.
2) The term “Compost” will be replaced by “Food Only” in food service areas.
3) Only Plastics labeled #1 or #2 will be accepted, as these are the only plastics with significant market demand at this time.
