Nez Perce student is WSU’s first national Udall award winner

By Beverly Makhani, Office of Undergraduate Education PULLMAN, Wash. – Sophomore and Nez Perce tribal member Rachel E. Ellenwood, 32, of Lapwai, Idaho, has won a nationally competitive scholarship from the Udall Foundation for 2015. She is the first Washington State University student to receive a Udall award.

WSU partners in community health, development initiative

SEATTLE – Washington State University has joined a Seattle-area nonprofit partnership to improve health care and economic development in diverse, low-income communities. It is anticipated that successful programs of Global to Local (G2L) in south King County might be replicated in eastern Washington.
