March 4: Sellout alumni trade show adds after-party

BELLEVUE, Wash. – More than 100 businesses with alumni ties to Washington State University will exhibit their products and services at the third annual CougsFirst! trade show 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center. A new networking after-party will be 8-10:30 p.m.

Nov. 13: Schweitzer to receive top alumni award

Alumnus wins statewide award for mental health reporting

SEATTLE – Jacob Jones, a graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University, is the 2014 winner of the Washington Mental Health Reporting Award. A staff writer for the Inlander in Spokane, he won for a series on how the criminal justice system handles people living with mental illness.
