Manure to Money on Extension Engaged

The next edition of Extension Engaged will be Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. in room T-101 of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Building.

The topic will be “Manure to Money: New Developments in Anaerobic Digestion.”

You’ll get a close look at the state’s first commercial-scale digester in action and hear about WSU innovations that could finally make digestion economically feasible for Washington dairy farmers.

Guests include Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources director Chris Feise, Chad Kruger of the Climate Friendly Farming project, Shulin Chen from Biological Systems Engineering, and Whatcom County Extension director Craig MacConnell. It can be seen live in the studio, room T-101 in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Bldg, or via video stream on Feb. 21 at 9 am at http://caheinfo.wsu.edu/video/stream.html.
