Football Operations Bldg – access, detours, etc.

WSU Facilities Services staff and The Hoffman Construction Team would like to thank all the students and staff for their patience and cooperation over the past 16 months as we constructed the new Football Operations Building. We appreciate the entire campus utilizing the temporary path ways and general compliance in avoiding the construction site. We are in the final stages of the project, which will create some changes to the current pathway across Rogers Field and access around the Operations Building. Below are the following changes to come:

  1. On May 12 we will remove the current student pathway across Rogers field. The north access opening near Bohler and the South gate near the CUB elevator tower will be closed in preparation for the Rogers Field turf replacement.   There will be no access to the south from the CUB elevator tower. From the bottom of the elevator only, access into Martin Stadium or the CUB elevator stairs will be available. Signs will be placed at the top of the CUB also notifying of this closure.
  2. The practice field replacement is scheduled from May 12 through May 30. There will be no access to either of the Rogers Field practice fields during this period.
  3. The pathway to get from Bohler/PE to the CUB must be through the Terrell Library Parking Structure.
  4. ADA Pathway from Rogers Field level to CUB will also be available through the lower level Terrell Library Parking Structure and use of elevator up to Terrell Mall.
  5. On May 16, foot traffic will be allowed along the east side of the Operations Building to access the CUB elevator.
  6. The North Plaza concrete work between Bohler and Hollingbery is underway. Extended hours and weekends are being utilized to get the entire Plaza completed as soon as possible.

Thank you, again, for your patience and cooperation.  Go Cougs!
