By John Sutherland, University Communications PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Cougar and NFL standout Steve Gleason will receive Washington State University’s 2017 Regents’ Distinguished Alumnus Award, the university’s highest alumni honor, Aug. 10 on the Pullman campus.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Scholarship funds from the Washington State University license plate, the number-one specialty plate in the state, hit a new record of $613,283 in the 2016-2017 academic year, according to the WSU budget office. All of the proceeds go to scholarships for students in the WSU system.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Awards for Washington State University Woman of the Year and Women of Distinction will be presented at the annual Women’s Recognition Luncheon and Symposium at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, in the CUB ballroom.

A symposium in his honor will be held during the society’s national meeting in New Orleans in March.
