PULLMAN – The cougar sculpture made from canned food by the CUB Lower Level team won the CUB Canned Food Drive Sculpture Contest that ended Wednesday.
The cougar collected $48.95 in “penny votes” from passersby. The four sculptures together raised $77.35 for the CUB community to donate – along with 999 pounds of nonperishable food – to the Pullman Child Welfare Food Bank.
Winners of the CUB Community Crock-Pot Cook Off were:
Most unique dish: Thai Coconut Curry Chicken Soup by Anita Cory, director of the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
