Speaker Brian Gunn is a member of the Indian Tribal Governments Team that represents tribal interests in federal courts and legislative and regulatory matters before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. He is a partner in the Washington, D.C., law firm of Dinker Biddle.
Gunn will discuss issues involving the development of renewable energy resources on Indian land, the “fee-to-trust” process, and relationships between Indian tribes, Congress and the administration.
Gunn is a WSU alumnus and received his J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law.
His appearance is co-sponsored by the WSU Plateau Center for American Indian Studies.
