SPOKANE, Wash. – A health fair, dinner and 5K run along the Centennial Trail are some of the events at Washington State University Spokane during Family Weekend, April 17-19, sponsored by the Associated Students of WSU Spokane.
Students will host their families at a number of events:
Friday, April 17:
3-4 p.m. Tours of campus and state-of-the-art facilities and labs.
4-5 p.m. Meet and greet reception with administration, faculty and staff in the Academic Center; light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Saturday, April 18:
11 a.m.-2 p.m. WSU Spokane Community Health Fair. Families will see students put their education in action as they give immunizations, health screenings and more.
6-8 p.m. Parade of Nations dinner, food, music and dance by the WSU Spokane Multicultural Club.
Sunday, April 19:
9 a.m.-noon Cougar Dash 5K run/walk along the Centennial Trail to Mission Park and back.
