PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its teddy bear surgery clinic 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 11. Children can bring their favorite stuffed animals, dress up in surgical clothing and assist veterinary students.
The event is part of the college’s annual open house. Other activities will include tours of the hospital, a dog wash, animals with organs painted on the outside, face painting, kids’ crafts and games. Butch T. Cougar, the WSU mascot, will make an appearance.
