Sonja Larson, accompanied by Juliana Witt and the Ethos Wind Quintet, will be performing her senior recital on October 18 at 3:10 p.m. in Kimbrough Concert Hall.
Larson’s program will include Gordon Jacob’s Concerto for Bassoon and Strings, I. Allegro; Paul Hindemith’s Sonata for Bassoon and Piano, I. Leicht bewegt, II. Langsam – Marsch – Beschluß, Pastorale. Ruhig; Camille Saint-Saëns’ Sonata for Bassoon and Piano, III, Molto adagio – Allegro moderato and an original composition for Wind Quintet, entitled Pune, I. Autorickshaw.
The concert is free and open to the public.
