Currently, there is a mural honoring Chicano/Latino Heritage in Lighty. It was created as a part of the recent event, Freedom School: Celebrating Chicano/Latino Heritage Month, sponsored by the WSU Culture and Heritage Houses. The mural was designed by Associate Professor Pauline Sameshima and painted by school children, WSU students and faculty.
The mural is located near the second floor main entrance of Lighty, off Wilson Road. It will be there for the next two weeks; please drop by and see it.
